Some good individual performances tonight, still need to gel as a squad. DCL needs to be more clinical in front of goal. Rooney should have had one, as well.

I gave MOTM to Rooney, different class and, although it's early in the season, he's slowly proving me wrong and I hope he can keep this level of performance up.

If it hadn't been for the fact that he was very lucky to have stayed on the pitch, I'd actually have given it to Pickford who, apart from that rush to the head, was very good tonight.

Overall, it wasn't a great performance, in fact, it wasn't even a good performance, but the job's done and we're in the draw for the competition proper, so there's no complaints from me.

For obvious reasons, I'm absolutely delighted to have seen Lennon on the pitch btw.

I thought Schneiderlin was excellent, he jumps in-front of the player too much for my heart but I guess that's the way he plays and his touch is massively underrated. Rooney is/was/will be class.

Proper european performance that. Not bombing forward like naive idiots, just bossing the match and taking the mick in the last 15 minutes.

Rooney obviously man of the match, but I wish I could vote for John Ebbrell.

..Rooney and Schneiderlin looked top drawer but Sigurdsson produced an unforgettable moment that instantly changed a difficult situation. In 20 years time on GOT somebody will mention that goal in a game that would be forgotten in the mists of time. Incredible.

Now we can look forward to tomorrow's draw.

We tended to back off on the edge of the box. A bit tentative.

Also Split took too many touches on the wings instead of whipping it across.

Better teams will test us more in these areas.
