Vault Me or: Predictions for next season

We'll have a scrappy, inconsistent start to the season, sitting around 9th in the league by the end of September, turning in very average and uninspiring performances.

Then we'll be on the end of a 6-love drubbing at home to Burnley in October, at the end of which Koeman reads the riot act to the players on the pitch at full time. It galvanises the club and we go on a superb run of amazing performances for the rest of the season, sweeping all before us and smashing through every round of the cups, a real irresistible force that ensures the moniker 'FC Sexy' is used to describe us in and amongst the national and international sporting media. We're rewarded for our incredible performances with a 7th place league finish and cup exits at the quarter final stages to other in-form teams.

We'll struggle until the end of October due to a difficult start, and bedding in several players. Klassen will appear to be a complete flop but will be outstanding after Xmas, coinciding with Ronko realising that Davies is the first choice centre mid. By the end of the season DCL with have established himself as a firm fan favourite with @davek asking him out on a date.

prediction
prɪˈdɪkʃ(ə)n/
noun
noun: prediction; plural noun: predictions
  1. a thing predicted; a forecast.
"a prediction that economic growth would resume"
    forecast, prophecy, divination, prognosis, prognostication, augury;
    bet, projection, conjecture, guess;
    rare vaticination, prognostic, auspication
"seven months later, his prediction came true"
    • the action of predicting something.
      "the prediction of future behaviour"

So it is.
In the same way that I predict tomorrow will be the day after today? Yes.

We will win the Europa league. (It will really be Arsenal)

And be very average in the premiership. (This is true)

This is fun.. I wanna play!

1- Rooney to score no more than 5-7 goals and be a major disappointment, yet still play 85% of games from the start

2- Mirallas to barely get a look in

3- Bolasie to return and make a huge impact

4- Klaassen to be bang average

5- Sandro to be worth about 30million in 12 months

6- Us to finish seventh at the highest

rooney to score under ten but each one to be important.
sandro to get 15
klaasen to get around ten
6th league
league cup final/win
fa cup 1/4
el 1/4

Ronko and Co to struggle until Christmas but gelling after that
Klaassen to take 5 games to get up to speed, during which he is booed by some absolute mutants
Barkley to be out by deadline day for £30m. Fails to make an impact at Liverpool
Rooney to last until Christmas as a starter before assuming his true role of super sub
Lookman to be outstanding. Ditto Davies.
Ditto Gana, in a midfield 3 of Klaassen, Gana / Schneids, Davies with Lookman, Striker /DCL, Sandro/Mirallas ahead of them (please)
A decent run in the Europa until going out in the quarter finals, ditto the FA Cup and League.
5-10th in the League - the odd win against the top 5 but inconsistent and struggling to breakdown the lower teams at home. And to be honest, that's OK by me for this rebuilding season - I want more, and we might get lucky in a cup but I doubt we'll break the Top 5 (who have strenthened too)

I predict that Sandro Ramirez will bag 20+ goals this season.

Pickford will break Howard's, Everton premier league clean sheet record in a single season.
