Yakubu to West Ham?

To be honest, I'm more than happy to see him go. And £7m? Doesn't sound too bad either. Could do something with that.

Moyes obviously has something up his sleeve if he's going to be willing to part with Yak:

Could use the cash to:

Meet Pienaar's wage demands and resign him.
Pay for the increases Rodwell, Cahill, Baines and Arteta have or are sure to receive
Bundle it with whatever pennies Kenwrong will make available to find a MF (Moutinho or Donovan?)
Repaint the GSE pink to match the new kits for next season.

I think there may be legs in this.

He's getting on, and he's nigerian so he's probably minimum at least two years older than he claims. (this is not racist but a cultural observation, they've been messing with their birth certificates out in Nigeria to get a better price for young players for ages)

He's not looked as dynamic a player since his injury.

Would prefer more than 7m though. But Moyes knows best.

If he really has agreed a deal subject to the clubs agreeing a fee then it can only mean that Moyes has let him negotiate with his blessing - otherwise its an illegal approach.

A cheeky bid for Huntelaar? Make it so captain.

But I agree, with the story the other day about his Spurs move, Yak is defo gonna be looking for a move, clearly his head isnt right at the moment, you can blame the injury, blame the weather, even blame it on the boogie, but the fact is, the man is a total mercenary.

But story about Spurs was from 2008!!! And it was published on some shitty site, without one words indicating that it was Yakubu who was engineering a move.
