Once he's scored some goals he'll start turning people's opinions around.

Definitely, it's a great point.

The three things I'd like to see him improve would be
  • Passing
  • Tackling
  • Shooting
I think once he's got these up to Premier League standard, and doesn't give up so quickly, I reckon we will think better of him. We know already he is a solid starter for Koeman.

I was happy with Klaassen's performance, and happy to see he's continuing his one-touch badassery that he did so well at Ajax.

I understand this is your opinion but out of everything you critique, I don't think you should focus on his passing. His one touch passing and link up was better than anything I've seen in the last few years for Everton.

Better than Pienaar?!?!

Also Naismith's third against Chelsea is the best passing move I've seen from us in years

I thought he was good tonight and I reckon he'll keep getting better. Keeps the ball moving and full of energy. Not dissimilar to Gravesen.

Could have finished with a goal or two and a few assists v a team who sat back the whole game. I think his offensive output will he big over the course of the season and that's what Koeman wants rather than flair players like Del who are easy on the eye but can't finish anything.

I thought he did well.
Not great pace over the first few yards, but a great engine - even covering back for when Martina went AWOL.
His late runs into the box were also evident despite team mates not picking out the right pass.
Happy over what he has shown so far. Almost reminded me of a dogs of war midfielder from the past (in the making) but with a goal scoring threat.
Early days.

Did they? I thought they played a good counter-attacking game rather than being ultra defensive and bar one excellent Stek save and some ropey finishing, they could have had a good result.

There was plenty of space to play.
