That inventive, ballsy, outspoken proud manager disappeared so quickly. Talk a lot about footballers and wasted talent, I think Moyes is probably the biggest let down in terms of managers who never kicked on. Another thread though.

Early days yet but he's looking impressive.

It's only when the season starts and everyone is going at it full pelt that we'll find out if he's got the legs still.

I was against signing him but now he's here I'll get behind him and hope he proves me wrong.

The runs Rooney made for Dowels cross and for his goal are something Everton have been missing for a long time. I get the feeling he's going to have a good season.

For the last 4-5 years he was getting worse and worse for utd so they were right. For the level they're looking for he's not good enough anymore. I'm not convinced he will be a top player for us. Yes he scored a goal against Genk, but he wasn't that good.

If he's our 'important' player this year then 7th is the max.
