Some people just dont like skilful players like this. They'd rather have a plodder who puts in 90 minutes of dull but honest endeavour than a player who can turn it on and have a telling impact on a game a few times per match....sometimes to spectacular effect, other times to no avail because chances aren't taken.

Clearly has an Irish heritage and he wouldn't be the first to declare for his families country.

We never had a problem with Big Jack and I'm sure Dowell would be welcomed with open arms.

In blue shirted matters, I really hope he keeps building on his recent form and forces his way into Koeman's reckoning. The manager said he wanted creativity and Kieran is delivering.
