...so Mrs Eggs is joining my retired status tomorrow at the ripe old age of 58. Anyway, she's asked me to nip to Costco to get some cakes for her office but I never eat cakes. The order is pastries and cup cakes but I genuinely don't know what either look like. Google it she says.

Swerve Costco.

Go to your local bakery, the cakes will be much nicer and probably have a more varied range to choose from.

She'll thank you for it x

The interview developments have shed a different light on the party now; they obviously just didn't invite to the real one lol

I know :(

Haha, I'mt a bit of lurker but is that where he said his christmas party was basically some cakes and fizzy drinks during his lunch hour?

I think we were all thinking the same thing.

This is how we roll down in Grimdon. Old man grumbles to the press that a footpath isn't fit for bicycles.

Furious pensioner slams 'dangerous' footpath after narrowly avoiding injury

A PUBLIC footpath has been branded “dangerous” by angry residents after a pensioner was almost thrown off his bike.

Frederick Macclay, 77, from Liden, was cycling around the lake, located just off Shaftesbury Avenue, on Monday when his tyres skidded on the uneven surface.

He somehow just about managed to retain his balance but Frederick, who suffers from a bad back, was shocked to think about what could have happened to him if he had come off his bike.

“It’s a disgrace, I could have been seriously hurt,” he said. “Luckily I jumped off my bike just in time.”

That's like something from a Monty Python sketch lol

Just ordered a whopper meal on a US airbase in Suffolk.
You want cheese on that?.
No thanks.
Any bacon?.
No thank you.
You want your fries large.
No, just normal thanks.
You want cream on your milkshake?.
Eh??.
Would you like cream on your vanilla shake?.
No ta.
Would you like an Oreo cheesecake with that?.
No thanks.
How about an American cheesecake?.
No, just a whopper meal.
Would you like to save ten per cent with a discount card.
No.

I managed to keep smiling through this difficult order, and must admit it tasted better than our BK, and the shake was something else man. Going to need to attend the gym after work though.

Fairy cakes and apple pies? If so Tesco and/or Mr Kipling must be the most cost effective way. After all, she'll not not need to see any of that lot again...

...good point but I went and got them from Costco. I found pastries but had to ask what cup cakes were. Sorted. I just don't see the appeal of cakes, I can't imagine eating one. Yuk.
