They will have to sell someone for decent money this season - so obvious choice as he's made noises about moving (he's practically ancient to have not left Ajax yet at 24)
Club will be willing in order that any sales they make strengthen their hands in trying to keep hold of the ones they really have the most hopes for (price wise) ie Dolberg in reality.
Buy Dolberg off them first then target Klassen if you really want him - that's the smart way to go about it.
Also be tempted to offer them Deulofeu for a knock down price if they agree to sell to us, he'd probably tear up that division - and would give them a good chance of a high resale in a season or two

...but only if Deulofeu was prepared to go.
Personally I'd appreciate one with a list of who are our transfer targets for each of the positions as I only periodically dip in and out of the thread and have lost track of who we are interested in!

Oh im with you there, been a bit busy in the real world the last few weeks so havent really been keeping up with any news.
But I normally like to keep my squad analysis thread for discussions regarding the current players and holes within the squad, but dont you worry, I will of course resume my weekly posts in here regarding current targets and players we should be targeting, I have already employed the 2 best football scouts in the game to assist me this year. @Connor and @Brownie.
But that will 100% be when the season ends.

Think that's where Klassen links are coming from mate.
Mostly I think because none of them are really goalscoring midfielders. Davies is closest but he's not really there yet, or perhaps he's going to move back as he matures and he's not really seen as ending up in that position anyway. Klaassen is very much a goalscoring midfielder.
