That's what they say, but keep in mind that the fact he can play somewhere doesn't mean he's good in that position.
Anyway he looks very comfortable on the ball, and from what i've heard all the games he's played as a defender he was gash, so.

Edit: not hatin' on him, just don't think he'll be that good. I'd be happy to see him slip in to that position in the future, but not too soon.

Yeah i think cause he has played as a defender and is very comfortable on the ball he got compared to Ferdinand but there was no mention of his actual defensive ability.

Time will tell though.

Chances are he is gonna be better in midfield anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised if Steven Defour was our main target this year. With Standard Liége failing to qualify for the CL or Europa League, it could be the time for Standard to cash in on their priced assets. Would be an ideal player for Everton, as he can play in a variety of positions. Not sure about the price though, but Standard aren't in the same position as they were when they sold us Fellaini.
