Evening Toffees

Well in today against the ABU Devil Worshippers

What a day getting very drunk at the moment

Cant wait for Match of the day

There was me thinking I´d be watching the Villa game the night before I flew home from Tenerife, and then a volcano erupts, Easyjet cancel our flight, and I´m still here after watching City v Utd, Blackburn v Eeeeeverrrrtttttonnnnn and Spurs v Chelsea at a beachfront bar! (y)

(but we´d sooner be home really)

Frustrating to watch the match knowing that the final score should have been 3-0. The two goals were absolute rippers, but they always seem to go in against us lately.

Some notes from what I saw/read of the game:

Howard seemed all over the place on the crosses that I saw, apart from one he got a decent fist on. He gets too wound up by players standing in front of him imo.

The two chances we had at the beginning of the 2nd - both game from GOOD Hibbo crosses! Wtf!? :)

If Baines' shot had gone in i think that would have been game over, and we would be all raving about that and forget about Howards positioning on theirs, as they prob wouldnt have happened anyway. Notice the keepers position btw, just inside 6 yard box. Just saying like.

Cahill scored, not a header!! And some people want to let him go??

Yak: Minutes - 12. Goals - 1. Assists - 1. And a beauty at that. Why would you want him running round all over the place? We're past that. And sell him? Ker-azy.

Arteta: Hate to say it but he shoulda walked. If i'd been Moyes I'd of been half tempted to sub him off. Almost a shame he played so well after that.

Most overblown hypebole, from the bbc match report:

Rovers went into the match having kept three clean sheets in their last three games but they were stunned by Everton's blistering opening which saw them keep possession in a manner akin to Barcelona.

Easy mate.... you'll put ideas in Moyes' head! :o

Agreed on everything, more specifically those two things. :)
Also, Cahill's goal is his first with a foot in 11 months in the Prem.
