he's bloody world class as far as I'm concerned. We've basically given Messi away!!!
I do actually like him btw, I thought it was poor judgement from Koeman to let him go but if a player isn't in the plans then it's only fair to let them go.
..I think it's clear the manager doesn't think he fits the way he wants Everton to play. I like Deulofeu but Koeman needs to bring in the players he wants. He will ultimately be judged on that. He's shipped out plenty, there will be more. Some players who go will be popular, others won't but we have to let him get on with it.
As far as I'm concerned we are a better team than 12 months ago, I think we have to give the manager a few more windows to improve us even more.

I know, I've missed seeing him sat on his backside on the edge of the opponents penalty area waving his arms uselessly in the air .
Have you not noticed us play away in what way did he not fit in his last prem start Watford away he was MOTM but dropped the next game after clear the air talks with the team - then he never seen the bench - RK had this problem at southampton with Mane, and Pelae both had bust ups with him so in his first season RK has gathered less points than RM with better funds!
the juries still out on him imo at home great football - away utter poor 4 wins and 8 draws is not great!
..I so much wanted Deulofeu to be a success under RK, Joey but he really disappointed in the majority of games he was given a chance in. I reckon RK isn't happy with talented players who are inconsistent and don't also play at a high tempo. Some players perform as though the game doesn't matter that much, perhaps Deulofeu is one of those.
so he is worse than we already have? I am not so sure I feel thay may of not just seen eye to eye on how the game mainly away should be played!
..yep, they probably have differing views. I think he's more talented than others we have in his position but the team are performing better than this time last season. The manager has to make his own decisions about individuals even if you and I disagree.
Need to make sure we either get a good fee of say 15m, or he has to stay and be content with being a squad player used mainly in europe where he will be more effective

I like him, and, though he might not warrant a regular starting position, I think he'd be an excellent option off the bench. But, i'm in the same camp as Macca here, if a relatively young player isn't likely to be starting regularly, and has the ambition to do so, then we should let them go.

He doesn't have the workrate Koeman wants, DCL was there yesterday to occupy Moses and he was pretty quiet, can't imagine Deulofeu doing the same. The only position he would get away with in this league is as a no 10, and Koeman clearly doesn't fancy him there.

Is too bad he doesn't translate his FM16 quality into real life. The lad scores 20+ goals for me, loads of assists and gets Player of the Month contention regularly.
I suppose I need to purchase the new version to help me come to grips with him not coming good like I always hope he will.
