I just remember him trudging off with his Everton shirt off, revealing his get well soon message to Bryan Oviedo after Liverpool battered us 4-0.

By the way that was Martinez' first 4-0 not his second 4-0

You were still watching at thst stage?

That is masochism

I think he's a good squad player and I'm really happy to have him here.

He'd have been a great player if it was not for the lack of consistency and the injuries he suffered.

Adapted his game under koeman and works harder and is less selfish, still got that bit of magic and is a good finisher.

Prefer him more central now though.
Agreed, and same with Lennon, or at least up front alongside.

Still think this was our best formation all season though:

Well both actually, but you seemed to still be paying rapt attention at the end of one and noticed Mirallas took his shirt off at the end.

I find it strange any of us would still be watching at that stage :pint2:

If you don't watch to the end then you give up your right to BOO the side at the final whistle. And no self respecting Evertonian is going to want to do that, even if it is from in front of a screen.

Are you kidding?

I am not joking when I say this.

I keep a box of tissues beside me on the sofa when watching a TV game.

When the other team score I roll one of them up and fire it at the screen.

I give the fingers to players I don't like and the air is blue in this house when things go wrong

But the moment a match is lost, either with the other team scoring a killer goal near the end of the ref blowing full time on a narrow defeat, it is clicky off.

So I eouldn't have a clue what goes on seconds after we lose a game on TV
