After reading his ' not a blog' and the revelations about spin offs and that all week . It's becoming clear he's resigned to not finishing the book or is even not arsed about it ! Oh well !

Probably for the best no? He lost interest after book 3 and that hiatus just killed the series. The TV writers will do a far better job wrapping things up. He should actually have handed them the reins as soon as it was apparent that the TV show was serious. As it stands, he's tied himself to the mast with it and not written anything worth reading for 17 years.
I'm sure he's crying all the way to the bank about that, but for a writer of his talent it is sort of sad that he couldn't move on from SoIF and write other things at this late stage.
