I am not saying I live a completely ethical life or there aren't parts of my life that probably do contribute to negative aspects of society. However, suggesting you can only show a dislike for something if you are completely unblemished is, in my view, a dangerous position to take. I believe you are doing it to shut down criticism rather than actually engaging with the issue.
I have a direct emotional relationship to the club and, for better or worse, it does shape parts of my character and I feel uncomfortable with it being a vehicle for Usmanov. Even more so when he is being hailed as some wonder being for maybe putting money into the club.
Strange that. The scruffy bloke stood next to us has got 2. He nicked one from the hand of some little kid and the other one looks like a photocopy?
Agreed. I think there is a lot of "1+1 = 3" maths going on here. Nevertheless, this is a huge positive for Everton, Just the fact that this backdoor investment is going on right out in the open is likely to shake a few cages and ruffle the feathers of some big turkeys out there.Whilst all very exciting and that, if you distil this down, a company that him and Moshiri control have agreed a (modest in their world), naming rights for FF. A welcome increase in our commercial revenue, FFP and all that.
But the leap from that, to him extraditing himself from owning 30% of Arsenal to get fully behind us is a huge one.
Unless he has smoothed the path for that to happen already, I cant see him doing it any time soon.

This is an incredibly high moral stand and one must accept your ( clearly ) deeply held principles.
For me , well I guess I'm more pragmatic.
Everton have been held back far too long and I'm sick of it.
Provided we are not funded by someone who has been convicted of a serious crime I say take the money and enjoy the ride.

I don't think he has given up on Arsenal, in fact I think Moshiri taking us over is a deliberate ploy to increase pressure on Kroenke. Imagine if Moshiri ,his close business partner, can raise us from the doldrums that would vindicate their model for running Arsenal. Even better if it can be done with Usmanov tacitly and legally adding some financial support. It would at the very least place the current Arsenal board on the back foot.
All good for us like.
Please don't post fake photos. Thanks.
He sounds a really nice bloke and clearly a big Everton fan, who has never done anything wrong and made his money completely legitimately.
I was also told today that Big Dunc is his hero - should be a great addition to the club.
#WelcomeUsmanov.
