Inconsistent?

Not just that. Really shoite.

Lousy technique and ball control. Not as pacey as he might seem.

He has good acceleration but he can't stand a 30yard sprint, for example.

As a winger, he can exceed himself playing in the counter with space to run and beat the full back. But against more defensive teams he's not as effective on the wing.

I think he could be a sort of AJ but he still lacks the never say die spirit. In short spaces he can take advantage with his acceleration to move into space and open defences.

Beside all this he's not a lethal finisher. He can score the most outstanding goal and the next minute he can miss a sitter.

I wouldn't go for him for the money Sporting might ask.

Osman looks a world beater sometimes, but is quiet on many occasions.
I also think many of us are writing Bilyaletdinov too early. I don't buy the 'already played a season' thing with him though. I just think he needs match practise, and is another who should be played as much as possible in our remaining fixtures.

It's hard to judge someone on a few performances. This season, I've watched a few Sporting games, but have to say that Moutinho doesn't look anything special from what I've seen. Solid yes, but we have similar players already. Then again, he is only 23 apparently, so his best years are ahead of him.

Oh right, so Xavi and Iniesta would struggle in our League?

I guess you best tell Luka Modrić 5ft 8, that hes too small for our League and would he kindly leave the Country.

He has the likes of Kaboul (6ft 4), Dawson (6ft 3) Kranjcar (6ft 3), Crouch (6ft 7), Corlucka (6ft 4), Bassong (6ft 2) in and around him. Not to mention 6ft 3 Huddlestone next to him. Speaking of which, notice how they went to bits when he went off?

A team with only one outfield player over 6ft is going to struggle in certain aspects. Defending set pieces for one. Seeing a gang of midgets in comparison in front of them will give the attackers a bit more incentive as a corner is being whipped in.

A physical presence is important in Premiership

Right, so Everton should only go after players who are over 6foot?

Peter Crouch?? Stéphane Mbia?? Patrick Viera????

You dont need height to have a physical presence. See Cahill, Tim 5ft 10.
