Your routine is boring.
There's no substance to all that froth tonight at the Philharmonic. Another number perpetrated on the long suffering fanbase. Bringing that joker Joe Anderson into the fray - is that supposed to be reassuring and proof that things are moving? If so its a joke. The feller is an expert at massaging Evertons stadium situation with mealy mouthed words of support but all the time kicking it into the long grass.

If you think that's boring then that's up to you.

Again, put that into context with our competitors - or the Clubs we want to be competitive with.

Everton will have just sold the shirt naming rights AND training ground sponsorship for £15m a year.

United in 2013 sold sponsorship of Carrington to Aon for £20m a season in 2013.

And yet Elstone remains in a job.
Unfair to compare us to United. They have the most marketable brand in football as well as the fanbase. I think we have done well to get those sponsorship deals on the back of two 11th place finishes.

its quite frightnening that people think this is progress. we are stagnating, will always be like this aslong as bill and bob are there.

Ok then - I'll compare us to the rest of the league as of May 2016, here;

So £15m a year for both Shirt and training ground sponsorship would put us 7th up from, er, 9th. And that's for the next 5 years. The numbers on this list are for JUST shirt sponsorships.

Some actual confirmation of the figures and a breakdown would be nice. 300% as a headline figure sounds great, but when you look into it a little further is it actually that spectacular?

Hope Elstone gets trapped in a tanning bed and melts.

the quote actual reads 'we EXPECT TO ANNOUNCE the 300% increase.......

nothing is definate yet. its all bullshine

Breaking my own imposed monatorium on posting I just want to say how delighted I am that all the positives previously expressed about Moshiri are coming to fruition.

Re BM it's now confirmed as our first choice, we have an option to acquire the site and LCC are totally supportive.

The best evening for Evertonians in decades.

It seems to me that the progress on the BMD development has not advanced as mush as previously thought which is disappointing, wonder what those issues are precious few concrete details on what's happening

"Self sustaining" with insipid new sponsorship deals and a stadium build sometime in the future.

Great plan Moshi.

How about you bring something to the party, stick your hand in your pocket and spend some cash to give us some momentum on the pitch?

If there's a biggish spend this January rest assured there will be a big name offloaded in the summer to cover it. I hate to say it but there's a distinct whiff of smoke and mirrors about this new feller and his entourage of old failures and new placemen.

Words are just words at this stage

I'm cautiously optimistic, but we really need to see some action now

It is getting to that point.

Paying off the loans was great like, but nothing else seems to have changed.

Agree with all three of you here.

We could be about to leather it in January for north of £30m - now that definitely would be progress. We could be weeks away from planning permission and all that jazz being sorted. Of course, either of these happen and it's churlish to criticise Moshiri et al. at this stage.

But to date, none of this has happened. Let's see what happens.
