Hi @Donald Twain

You too C xLove u really Saps xx
Why are you always like this?
One of my concerns though with new owners was that a lot of any new investment would come from rising prices on the fans, similar to Arsenal. As my other post, good on season tickets but hardly ground breaking, to be fair historically we have always been great on this score.
True ....one thing Moshiri has given me is hope , hope like i've not had about this club since the 80's .So until that hope dissapears i'm all in mate.I agree, hes got as much time as needed, I havent been a "give us info NOW" poster, im willing to wait and im willing to give Mosh and Koeman as much time as needed, the whole thing is gonna take time.
I just get the impressing that BM will be out of reach, for 1 reason or another, lets hope im wrong, but if im right, I wont be blaming anybody, it will just be 1 of them innit.
they told it exactly like it was and answered the questions on the ground very thoroughly.
I don't know what else was to be expected...
The Liverpool Waters project is renovating and improving the entire surrounding area mate.I thought it was nailed on for BM Mick, I just dont like the talk of "issues", its a site with many issues, its not even land for 1, its freaking water, but ok, easy enough sorted, I suppose, then theres the fact that most of it is listed buildings on the whole UNESCO bullcrap or whatever its called, then theres also the issue being that Peel own the land, their owner is a horrid kopite and will defo be an arse about the whole thing, then theres the fact that the whole area is an utter crap tip, not in a Walton homely crap tip, but an actual high grade crap town, I was down there the other day, its like crap town.
So I just see all these hurdles and I wonder if we will able to jump them? Yano?
At the first GM. of a new regime, it was always going to be italy important to be distinctive from the mistakes of the past and give clear objectives and processes of how to get there, instead what we got was a Bill and Elstone floor show caring fest. Why should we trust this Man? He needs to let us know. Not be talking about commitment and museums and having coffee with Bill.
Critical infomation needed to be asked and addressed:
Intention and future plans in regard to shareholding Not important
Specifics of loan to Everton 80m with no repayment date
Intention of repayment of the loan Never
Ongoing funding model Increased commercial deals and shirt sponsor, FF sponsor
Specifics of commercial deal, what the hell was sponsored, over what period of time It said more details to follow
Funding model for a new ground Not important
Timescale toward resolution. Not important
Plans for overall business model and development See increased commercial deals
We got bum fluff and the questions I heard from the floor were really bad, granted I wasn't there.
Very disappointed.
Happy to help mate.
Your a very good bhoy.
Without being nasty, I do find it galling that people demand answers from a multi-million pound business about their business model.
Just pay ya money and support the club or dont, yano?
No mate. Not at all, I've been consistent on this since he joined. I even said in numerous occasions I expected little out of this window, Summer would be the 'Acid test'. Still relaxed, in general on here and Twitter the consensus is pretty positive. That'll do for now. I'm not gonna worry about what might not happen with the stadium when it could easily still go the way we want it to.
Got back from the meeting about an hour ago and have now had time to reflect on it.
My overall feelings are positive because of the following:
- the commitment of Moshiri seems to be far greater than I thought it was
- a new stadium looks more likely than I previously thought, even though there are still some significant hurdles to clear
- Plan A for the stadium is the dock, but we also have a plan B and possibly a Plan C (not something we had in place for the last three aborted moves)
- Although there are still questions over commercial revenue, there do seem to be improvements. Obviously the biggest of these is the TV revenue (£10m per year per club from China alone)
- Our fans are great: not only have they given generously to food banks, they have also bought several beers for Moshiri on the train up from London
- EITC are just the best. Fantastic - and recognised worldwide as the best.
Some negative feelings though:
- Moshiri admits that we are playing catch-up with the top six financially and that this may take time
- Moshiri ranks a good Premier League position above winning the FA Cup, and I suspect that Ronald agrees
- Koeman is not here for the long term. I don't think Walsh is either, even though his brother played for Everton
If anybody has any questions on specific points from the meeting, please ask and I'll do my best to respond!
