Re the ground

The easiest thing to do is the brownfield site in SC, we would be preparing ground works at this stage if it were going to happen.

BM far more complex site and there is nothing in tonights agm to suggest this will not happen.

Interesting to note that the term months was used so a definitive time frame for announcement there I'd suggest.
Yes maybe 24 or 36 months

I just get the impression that BM isn't happening.

Sounds like the same old sound bites we've used for years.
Its all just a charade mate , Moshiri is putting all his business accumen , bringing in a Top Stadia designer from America in , striking up a relationship with the City Council like we've never had before.Negotiating with one of the U.Ks most successful developers . All of this will be very time consuming and come at a great cost.
Ye some charade to hoodwink the fans of the club that he's just bought into.............sake man.

All in all it sounds really positive.

Thing is I've heard it all before....we've been lead down the path to disappointment so many time.

Talk really is cheap when it comes to Everton. I want action....I want fight an desire, I want my 4 year old boy who already absolutely loves us to watch a winning team.

As always with us I'm on the cautious side. I hope an pray this really is the turning point...

But I've thought that so many times before.

Nil satis Nisi optimum means everything to me.....I hope it will to Moshiri an Koeman to

With the advances in medical science there's a slight possibility that he might.

He didnt say it was a charade, but he feels, as do I, that these issues they are encountering, wont be overcome, it wont be anybodys fault, its a difficult site to build on, it is what it is.

It's true though, it seems a bit of a cheap shot to ban someone for the "high maintenance" rule when in actual fact they haven't actually broken any rules. I pointed out earlier that I was banned for calling someone a kopite, I was called a kopite and a melt earlier, both personal insults and I bet nothing was done.

I know @AndyC has dealt with it in his own way and that's fine, but where's the consistency?

Shut up saps

Says it all when the BBC headline from the General Meeting is about an injured player we already knew about

I said earlier today that anybody who expected a stadium announcement shouldn't have even bothered.

Lots of work to be done. But the info we did get is extremely positive.

We also now know for certain that we've got better commercial deals already lined up (£75m worth, in fact) and secured.

Esk has reached Bieber levels of fan craziness.

It's rather embarrassing and I suspect that all detractors are likely to notice members of their family go missing in the coming weeks and find them in the woods weeks later with esk quotes carved into them.

Stay safe blues

It is a really weird one this. Unless he has a direct line into Moshiri it's strange how this has all come about. No doubt that he called the Koeman one and fair play indeed for that, but I do struggle with this other stuff and his new Echo writings. Seems to be (generously) enthusiastic interpretation of the tea leaves than based on actual fact.

I mean, we're miles beyond the land purchase announcement aren't we? Wasn't that going to be Autumn 2016? And indisputably we have (to date) balanced the books on signings rather than the net £100m?

Not sure. But one thing I will say is at least @The Esk produces massively better copy than a lot of the Echo journalists and well done him for carving out a new opportunity for himself.

Erm... OK, tonight not a good start. Still a few days to come through on the signings.
