A steadying influence through a tricky period in our history so I won't knock him. But now the time has come for him to take a step back. The fresh blood is here, the exuberance of relative youth can be subdued no more. Tom Cleverley, this is your time.

It's obvious why he and Gibson were given new deals. No money to replace them. Wake up guys

Ronald must know they are both useless? But it's better having them than no one else

Having Gibson is pointless, he's that far down the pecking order that we might as well not have him.

His deal just must be heavily appearance based, or it makes no sense at all.

I'm pleased that we managed to secure his signature on that extended contract. He has so much experience.
I would be made up if he could get a mighty Three Lions recall...he merits it

Gibbo can pick a pass. I think he'll prove to be a real asset if he can overcome his niggling injuries, which let's face it, happen to all footie players

It shocked me but he signed days after koeman came in and before training begun I can't help but think it was a board signing? Hopefully he is let go this summer

It's was on the presumption there would be offers for him and we would recoup a transfer fee. Otherwise he would be a free agent. I dont believe he is on big wages so made sense at the time.

Offers without him playing for us first? Who, with money, would want a midfielder with his history who can't get in our mid table match day squad?
