How does it reflect poorly on the forum when it's on the Liverpool Echo site? 99% of people reading those comments won't get the references.

It's a sad reflection on the braindeads we, like every club, have amongst our fan base.

I have no bone to pick with you mate and I enjoy your posts/previews on here.

But the comments thing it's not particularly nice mate. Yeah, it's a laugh. What great banter etc. It's the equivalent of someone scrawling graffiti about yourself on a toilet wall.

It's actually cowardly garbage.

Says a fair bit about the professionalism of the Echo too. I just registered and could, if I was so inclined, comment now without any verification of the email address I've used.

Slipshod website which is more interested in page views than anything else.

It's a good article, but it's wasted on there because it's preaching to the converted for any Blues which read it and the Reds will just ignore it.

No mate sorry I wasn't saying that in argumentative way, just that it won't really bash the forum as it's on the Echo website and to be honest it's pretty puerile stuff that I doubt many would scroll through. I'm sure the Esk will take it that way.

When you write stuff you're subject to feedback, I've had plenty of crushing ridicules over my previews over the years, much of it justified too.

It's childish yes, but cowardly garbage? Erm no.

It's standard GOT opportunism. Esk will get it, he won't be one bit annoyed. And no one has any qualms with him on a personal level nor indeed with the article, which is in fact a great read.
 
Come on lads we are better than that comment section. At first I had a chuckle but when words like retard are describing fellow blues boundaries are crossed. Moderators wouldn't accept it on here don't see why we would write it on the rags comment section.
