I'd rather have Martinez back

I've seen a few, although I thought you were pretty good against us!

This team is good and often really good when the wingers are playing well. Bolasie is OK, but we spent all of November forcing the ball to him while everyone stands around and picks their noses. As for the others it was probably just a purple patch. They've been poo since October and were poo from Jan-May of 2016.

Martinez appeared to have a clear vision of where he wanted to take the club, albeit that may have been the championship, but at least he had a plan and drive to get us there.

Koeman doesn't really appear to have any long term plan and I reckon he'll chuck a load of money at garbage in January and we'll be having this same debate come the end of the season.

I don't want him sacked yet but I wasn't his biggest fan to start with, overpaid for an average manager with next to no noteable achievements as a manager, and a reputation built purely on his playing days. I never thought I'd entertain the idea of Martinez again, but Koeman has managed to limbo straight under the Martinez bar of crapness, which is no mean feat with his figure.

So yeah, Martinez in.

Lol'd at that Bungs.

I was angry yesterday, but Church this morning has calmed me down and thought me to reflect on things.

Last season we all thought and said a decent manager would get this squad of players top six. We get this so called decent manager and after the first few games people bragged saying " See, it was Martinez after all "

Now, everyone is blaming the players and Koeman is getting a free pass for some strange reason.

It's like the Maarten Steklenburg thread, people are blaming him for recent defeats. I've watched Match of the day again and you can clearly lip read him saying " That's it Midfield, offer no movement " and later " That's it defence, let them cross " and near the end of the game he quite clearly said " next week we will play the same formation and system lads, good job today "

People think our squad is better than it really is. I've said since the Summer it's a top eight squad and might push for top six.

There's a fair amount of talent in the squad in their feet, but precious little backbone so heads drop quickly and players go missing.

Koeman's got a tough job to turn the mentality round, and, at the moment he's failing to do so.

Doesn't help that some of the squad are now past their peak, so injuries and age are catching up with them.

Yeah, "God awful manager"....who won the FA Cup for an ale house team hammering us and beating mega bucks City along the way....and then coming here and running up 21 wins in 38 games in a record breaking PL season...and who's now been put in charge of one of the best national teams in world football.

Obviously not as good as that 'kin hoofball dinosaur Moyes and this new feller who looks like he's shaping up to be one of the worst Everton managerial appointments of all time.

Unreal.
Gave us our worst home form ever and stopped me going to the game

You have your opinion, but in mine he was dreadful.

I can go to the game, and begrudgingly accept defeat, as is our current lot under Koeman.

What I can't accept is continual boredom, and defeats, which was the reality under Martinez.

Southampton players and fans were glad to see the back of Koeman, he is a man with a large ego and an equally large bank account. His management ability is less than his ambition. He is unable to communicate clearly, he is unable to inspire pride in his team, he is unable to make difficult decisions, he is unable to stay in a management position to see a plan through from A to Z and he is unable to understand the Everton fans lack of patience after thirty years of drift. If he remains manager then Everton FC will be in a relegation fight this season. Martinez was a failure and Koeman is a failure. Stop kidding yourselves he needs to go and go now.

How much compensation would we have to pay the Belgian FA? It would be so Everton to pay off Roberto with £10m+ and then pay compensation to get him back.

Make it happen please just so we can watch the fallout on here.

Give your head a wobble lad, do you want mass suicides ?
