Ronald Koeman discussion

It doesn't help that even when we do have chances we're so wasteful and toothless in front of goal - 93 minutes for a shot on target is pitiful.

I agree that we need to adapt our style and system, although I'd question we actually have one, but our failure to be clinical is pretty worrying.

Did we even have a corner kick today?

I can't recall one.

Just something different mate...

I'm not saying it'd definitely work like, but at this stage it's clear something needs to change between now and Jan, where we should be going and getting players in sharpish

We've tried Barkley out wide, he was shocking.
Agree I'd like to see 2 up front though.

That's optimistim for you on the relegation performances of the last three games?
Yeah actually your right. I'm assuming we'll grab a few home wins from somewhere.

But frankly the performances overall have been an order of magnitude less than the dross served up by Martinez who was rightly booted out unceremoniously. If the run in up to xmas goes the way most of us expect it will I'd have no issue at all with Unsworth taking over and getting koeman out.

What happened to S'tons academy under Koeman will happen here. It'll be placed in mothballs for however long he's here and he'll have no patience bringing players through, preferring to spend whatever cash he receives off the owner or more likely the cash from sales.

I find that very concerning tbh. It's what we have a great reputation for and it'll be flushed down the toile for the nest few years.
Agenda again..there is
I'd get rid of him now and give it to Rhino and Big Joe till the new year.

Couldn't be any worse.
thank god your not in charge. 12 games and all out panic. If you think bank to 95 we escaped relegation with I recall only 3 games to go but hey get Royle back. I must add he was a favourite of mine but this is business not emotions

If I'm correct 5 out of the whole Matchday squad played under Moyes, that's including Barkley who doesn't count seeing as Moyes got stick for not playing him. I Think it's stretching it to bring Moyes into it.

Jags, Coleman, Baines and Miralles played under him, Jags and Baines are getting older and it's the last 2 managers fault for not replacing them, Coleman needs to cross a ball instead of turning back and inside every chance he gets.
The Moyes players are the senior players and still the most influential.

I hate to say I told you so, but I said at the beginning of the season that Koeman needed to sweep this place clean. He didn't though, and he did what I thought he'd do becuse Martinez did the same: pacify the old guard and hand them a place in the.new regime. Martinez was buried by them in the end...Koeman will be too.

13 games champ and a worse return than Martinez gave us last season playing harder teams.

The fella is a clueless Dutch moron. He's out of his depth and clearly is taking us absolutely nowhere.
