ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

The rivalry with Utd hasn't been created out of the blue though, its real as is the Chelsea one, more recent, yes but it is real. Let's just say we were in their position now,we'd relish the fact if Spurs or City lose, because they'd be our rivals for the League. Doesn't make it the same as the Utd rivalry though. Perhaps our definition of the word 'rivalry' is different.

The media create a lot of this rivalry for the Sky generation. I moved out of Liverpool a few years ago and now live in the South - east so know a fair few Chelsea fans, they don't see it as a 'rivalry' between them and the RS like the media make out, they see them as rivals for the league this season because they are both up there, but like us they just laugh at them because they're bellends.

The only exciting thing left this season is for us to win the 'RS losing the League' trophy.
A Coutinho/LLannannanna injury away from slipping down the table....WTF is that manbun thing they have up front ?? Ha Ha !!

Mate, we're a Lukaku injury away from a relegation battle. If Coutinho or Lallana do get injured for a good while I reckon we could win the 'RS not winning the League' trophy. That would be sweet.

Scared to look at the league table lately but did last night and can't believe City are level with them on points and Chelsea can go above them today. This despite them playing the best football seen since Brazil in 1970. This despite them playing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea at the opportune moments. This despite the big clubs like City having to cope with huge European games but are now free to concentrate on the league. Would have thought they'd of been able to open up a few points gap the way they've been playing.

But what a trophy that was eh mate. Which was your favourite bit? Was it when they all used to greet the coach before home games like the scouse Norwegian ultras? Or was it the time the manager used a disaster to try and gain sympathy? Or was it the way they all thought they'd won it and bought the T-shirt? Slippy G's moment? Suarez crying? Us throwing the home match against City? The media saying they were everyones favourite team when fans of Villa and West Ham actually wanted to throw their games against City too? So many great memories eh mate.
