That's precisely why we have to acquire an attacking game, because we dont even show it against Bournemouth of Palace at home. Sunderland away second half is looking like the aberration this season.
It's the midfield. We were bossed by both those teams. The attackers are starved.

Look how often Sterling got the ball while our attackers fed on scraps.

Under Bobby we would of collapsed under that pressure and got done 4 or 5 nil.

Only positives I can take from today is that we are far more resilient & organised under Koeman. That's a good base to work from

I cant understand why Barkley who always puts in a top performance versus City is on the bench and Cleverley is on it.

Numb nuts decision.

We drew there 0-0 last season IIRC.

Hopefully we'll be 7th rather than 6th after this weekend.

About where we would expect to be at this stage, tbf.

Look who is aligning with you. We got beat by Sunderland 3-0 five months ago.

There's obvious improvement, but if we take the performance of the outfield players today its not great at all. Another day we concede form both pens and go down heavily and everyone on here is fuming. Just because our keeper had a worldy is not going to make me overlook what I consider to be a poor performance.

Moyes got slated for performing like this at top sides away from home and he usually had poorer quality players to deal with. I don't see why its knife to a gun fight for one manager but managerial genius when Koeman does it.

We came for a point and were lucky to get one. That's the headline of this game.

When I saw our opening fixtures up against Liverpool's i expected us to be ahead of them. Its been a decent start without getting too carried away. The direction we go in post Christmas will determine whether we are in for success under Koeman or not. Hopefully its upwards.

This pretty much nails it.
