Computer games.

Genuinely didn't know Redemption was a sequel...

Revolver wasn't a Rockstar game, and is apparently fairly mediocre. I remember it coming out at the time, but tbh paid it no attention. I think Rockstar bought whoever made Revolver.

Edit: apparently it was a rockstar game.

Edit 2: well kinda

The game was originally to be published by Capcom, borrowing elements from their 1985 title Gun.Smoke. The project was put into limbo when Rockstar San Diego, then called Angel Studios, was purchased by Rockstar Games in November 2002.[1][2] Rockstar Games purchased the rights from Capcom and expanded on it.

Looks incredible but not sure I trust the thing - some looked like prescripted cutscenes

Still promising though

Like the guy standing at the top of the mountain who shouts 'Hello Citizencon!!!'???

Most of it was in-engine though. Coming together! Planetside is supposed to be scheduled for January, but based on past history, that actually means January 2018.

The entire flyby and pan out, the nomad spaceshuttle things

Been following this since the kickstarter in 2012, basic game was supposed to release as a spaceship game in 2014, just heard the single player game wont be out until next year?

With 100m+ invested I'm sure they can take their time... Im just not getting too excited until I see more gameplay

The gameplay isn't bad so far, from the alpha's I have played (free weeks only, still not 'pledged'), it's a bit more arcadey when compared to Elite, but still fun. I had serious reservations that the game would ever come out, but it does seem to be making progress. Slowly, but still progress.
