Kevin Mirallas

Interesting the way he says he said the manager told some players he wasnt for them.

Echoes what Baines said in a way, if you wanna play you train hard ALL week, nobody gets an easy ride.

A fully focused Mirallas is a cracking player, same with a few others we have - if some can't hack it then really it's just gonna save us 2-3 years of hoping they can step up before they never do, will be a bit more brutal in the future on players not good enough you have to think. Which is no bad thing.

Could be a big season for Kev this one

This feller will never be professional. It's just not in him. He's played about a game and a half focussed on the game for a new manager. That wont last. He's ultimately a loafer and when he isn't loafing about he'll run into traffic looking to get a shot off rather than being a team player. Twas ever thus and it will always be so.

He's not perfect and has attitude issues obviously, but he's our best finisher outside of Rom.

Ultimately he's a good footballer and we need good footballers.

He's an individual in a team game. I cant abide that. Messi is the best in the world. Most obvious example of a team player there is too.

Before the advent of Lukaku he was our top scorer. Mercurial sums him up perfectly. Like all wide players can end up fading out of games. For all his imperfections he always tries his best and sometimes that actually gets him into trouble. The kind of player I pay to watch. On form ,probably the most exciting and talented player we currently have.

On song though there arent many better or more dangerous wingers in the league. that said if we got 38 games out of im i would be surprised, hes not made of hard stuff physically or mentally.

Pity talent to burn.

It's the mental side. He's just incapable of being focussed. Not only under Martinez but under the greater disciplinarian Moyes. He's got no concentration and cant hack it over a season without losing masses of games to poor form and ill-discipline.

Sitting on the fence as usual eh?

Love him and hate him in equal measures me. Maybe if I just hated him full time I wouldn't get so frustrated with him as often.
