Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Sissoko and Kone are the two I think we're really working on. The forwards names are any one from the pot of four or five. The keeper will be Begovic, Hart or none. I'm certain we are talking down Joe Hart to get the upper hand in the deal. I fully expect that one to go.....Hart needs out and needs a high profile English club to maintain his international stock, and we want a good deal from City. City need him off their books having publically said 'he's finished here'....if he stays it will be highly embarrassing for them.

Can only speak for myself but I do wish I was a little less grumpy and a bit more optimistic but unfortunately due to having seen no success at all in my 23 years, I find it hard with everton.

I hope we find the answers to our problems in the next 5 days, but I just don't see it. It's not looking a squabble with anyone, it's just my view. I think we should have done better and i hope we start doing better so much but I just don't really see it.

....good heavens.

Have a biscuit & a sit down young man.

All will be good.

I smoked 46 cigarettes during the WIMBLEDON game, not counting before, nor after...DURING...days like THAT were worrying days.

This/These...joyous in compare...;)

On the flip side, Bluetoff has blue tinted specs glued to his head,to the point it's cringeworthy, refuses to criticise anything the club ever does or doesn't and generally sits on the fence and tends to talk down to people. He is never wrong either.

Better to be a positive pelican than a grumpy gopher

The best thing to be of course would be a balanced bumblebee, but we can't all bee perfect (Heh)

Alas I need to do a bit of work on Monday.

As I'm sure Everton will be too. And on Saturday. And Sunday.

They might be working, but they won't be able to send any money (Unless they had deliver it I suppose)

The best thing they'll be able to do would be to wire money first thing Tuesday morning, but then again all the other clubs will be similar so I doubt it'll effect things too much

Cheers for tagging me like mate.

No I don't, in answer to your question. It's my opinion - I can accept I'm wrong.

You've been calling me out for being 'on the fence' all summer, merely because I won't judge an entire window before it actually shuts, and overall so far I think we've done decent business, if not as good as maybe we all expected.

I'm realistic and can see the reasons for that but refuse to be overly negative when there's just as much reason to be excited about where the team is heading.

And my entire life doesn't revolve around transfers, though I do enjoy a signing as much as anybody else.

Exactly. A healthy dose of scepticism and cynicism to go along with the positivity makes a much more balanced view.

Can you please tell me how my view isn't balanced?

You've accused me of sitting on the fence all summer - so surely my view must be a mix of both (a balance) if that is the case?

I know it's a crazy idea but I'd like all our signing to be done in pre-season and have time to bed into the squad so we are not running around last minute trying to buy anyone.
Any other transfer window I would agree mate but not with a new manager. He needed to assess the squad first unfortunately.

looking at the potential free agents still available.

Albeola, Samba, osvaldo, odemwingie, Mohamed sissoko, Drenthe. adiadiare, Raul Miarelas, Bentner, berbatov, klose,

fancy any of them?
