Courtois went for 9 million euros, and at the time would not have been considered as good as Hart is now.

Buffon went to Juventus for 50 million euros....

We cannot get the same as Hart for half the price. We could get a player with potential for half the price, but that's a totally different scenario.

Hart is proven quality, quite how you think a two time PL winner and former keeper of the year being a gamble is beyond me. It's as much of a non-gamble as you can get.

disagree, us re-signing pienaar from spurs was less of a non-gamble ha

... he never really played after we bought him.

He makes more game-winning saves than errors in the PL, he's deffo not a gamble.

I think the only player who plays better for England than his club is Welbeck...

People are obsessed with bringing in players from abroad.

Example, I'm pretty sure if Bolasie had played for a team in France of similar stature to Palace, and had the same amount of goals/assists, people would be delighted that we were splashing the cash.

Koeman with the four signings he has made so far has added vital Premier League experience but also quality that instantly improves our squad.
 

If I was Moshiri and City offered Everton Hart on a loan I'd bite their hand off. Quality keeper for a season without having to shell out 30 mil quid. A complete no-brainer. If City offered us Silva or Utd Rooney I'd take those too.

No chance city will offer him on loan after we took them the cleaners for Stones, Rodwell and lescott.
