Obviously was far better last season but still was a threat from the get go. Tore us a new ass when we drew them 2-2 a couple seasons ago

I'd be reluctant to shell out the asking price myself like. Time will tell if he's worth it or not. Anyway back to Everton and our pursuit of happiness mate.

Apologies if this has been covered already but I was watching Sky earlier and they said we have agreed a fee with S'land.

I can't fathom why he remains in their squad for Saturday if we have agreed the transfer with S'land and he has already been at Finch Farm.

I think it sounds more like player and agent trying to bump up his pay packet rather than Sunderland being arsey and moving the goal posts - but you never know?

yes quite possibly mate - but it could be that the players heart is not really in it for a move to us and that for him its just about putting the squeeze on Moyes to bump up his contract there - I suppose it could equally back fire on him and Moyes doesn't want him anyway.

Its one of those hard to tell - as people have said already - he is hardly going to sit in his motor outside their training ground and say sick of you mackems I'm off - but it does seem a bit odd him also spouting off to them that they have not offered him a new contract.
