It's just another account of people saying it's "Martinez way or else."

Worrying really that Kenwright couldn't see it, can't imagine where we'd be right now if Moshiri hadn't turned up.
sounds more like its a player moaning he couldnt force through a transfer to me

and i was never much of a martienz fan

You could say that Moyes was the same. Only Moyes seemed to stay afloat with his results.

I would imagine every manager at the highest level is the same.

It is either his way or the highway.

It is up to the Chairman to decide that the manager's way is not what he wants.

Most managers have their own way of doing things to be honest, and will always push for it

Martinez's problem was that he was set in his ways, and his ways were failing miserably

Whats Kenwright got to do with it? Tell you where we woujld be right now if Moshiri hadn't turned up, we would all be wondering why we have had such a quite transfer window and blaming Bill for it.

Quite ironic that in Kev's eyes, RM cost him a place at the Euros.

Now he says he'll work hard for Ronk only to find those efforts for nought as RM is unlikely to select him again anyway.

And the moral of this story is :

- Don't ever sulk or give less than 100%

- If you don't like a manager or want a move, playing your BEST is the way to get what you want.

- Earn you massive wage, respect the fans & show professional pride.

Common sense to anyone with a brain or who's actually had to work for a living. Sadly not that obvious to many thick over-entitled wasters.

Say what you want about Kev but he ALWAYS gave 100% on the pitch. If anything he gave too much sometimes last year when he was almost trying to prove a point by flying into tackles and ended up getting himself sent off.

Getting yourself sent off by commiting reckless tackles is letting the team down to me, not showing commitment. Each time he got sent off he didn't do it through his undying devotion to the cause, it was through his own frustration and petulance imo.

Can you not see why he was frustrated though? The post I was quoting said he didn't give 100%, I disagree wholeheartedly. I'm not saying it was boss to go throw himself into tackles and get sent off but I'm saying if he wasn't arsed about being left out or didn't care about the results or his own performance then he wouldn't have been racing around like a madman trying to make the most of his five minutes of playing time.

I can totally get why he was frustrated and yeah I think you're right, he cares about the game I just wish he could channel his frustration positively cos when he plays like he's on a mission he's near unstoppable, like in that derby, just a shame the red mist comes over him a bit too often.

I'm hoping with Koeman in charge we'll see a different player. I think RK will manage him better on and off the pitch.
