If you take our recent history at board and managerial level then no not really mate. Moshiri strikes me as the sort who won't settle for second best anyway.

I hope not really mate, I big believer in building something bottom up, I'd hate to be like a City or Chelsea and the boom and bust merry go round.

It is difficult not to get too excited, but if Moshiri can meet his ambitions with the new manager and DoF signings (Emery & Monshi), backing the new manager in the transfer market, player retention and with the plans he's developing for the stadium, we are going to be such a different club going forward.

First thing is to close the manager position which seems very do-able. ;)

Admittedly very vague but just had dinner with v well known Spanish/British football personality.

Says Emery days at Seville numbered. Nothing left for him to achieve that is realistic and that the whole approach within Southern Spain is to better yourself and work elsewhere . Sevilla as a city offers little and consequently Emery and perhaps Moshi now experiencing the glass ceiling so many in Spain outside Barca/Madrid have.

One of the best cities I have ever visited. After all of this business is resolved I recommend it to anyone for a decent city break. Just leave the Everton tops at home though!

Interesting, but I always take everything Balague says with a pinch of sal(t). Assuming it was Balague of course. If not...then as you were I suppose.
