Thought I'd point out something seemingly relevant to the Usmanov rumours. It appears Bill courted Moshiri for 18 months and the question is why wouldn't the Russian buy in during this period if he was really interested in EFC?
What maybe forgotten is that Moshiri himself needed a final push to commit. The Americans were clear favourites, at one stage, having been granted a period of exclusivity. I speculate that Bill was using them to leverage Moshiri to finally commit to the planned investment.
I wouldn't, therefore, take the fact that Uzmanov didn't come in during this period of courtship as compelling evidence that he 's not planning to come in at some point in future.
With the new TV deal about to kick in, the value of the Arsenal shares would have been on the rise. Bad time to sell. Hypothetically

Regardless of the money i am bothered about how attractive we are.If we lose our best players ie lukaku, stones,Barkley then all the money in the world will struggle to bring in high quality signings. We need a big name Manager and those players to stay-then I will get excited about the future.
Couldn't agree more. Mori, stones and lukaku all linked with big money moves away which could swell the transfer warchest by 100m plus. But what's the point? Stones and lukaku key players and proven in the premier league are going to be very difficult to replace. We will have to pay over the odds for players anyway, if we get 100m for these players. Jagielka has already spoken about the squad being 'thin' this is before the potential departure of these players. As glad as I am, Martinez has been sacked and moshiri being the right owner to take the club forward, I can't help but worry about the state of our squad. That is why we need a new manager ASAP to overhaul the squad.

I think one of the most positive things about the takeover has been the the unifying element of the shareholding, for years we have had a fragmented shareholding involving a number of different people, always felt it was a deterrent to new investment or indeed a takeover. If ever the club is taken over again hopefully we wont have to wait 15 years for it.

I think we all know that while Moshiri has the chance to put us back in serious contention for honours, but getting Usmanov in would be a whole different story. We would become league title contenders within years if he got involved.
Good post mate, Moshiri appears to be more than what any Premier League club could ask for a Chairman to be. He can and will drastically improve our club as a whole. Usmanov teaming up with Moshiri still offers us all of that but his financial power can put us up there with not only the best in England but the best in Europe.

Praying for Usmanov doesn't mean we're not over the moon with Moshiri.

Can people just remind me what our great clubs motto is? Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, Nothing but the best is good enough!

I've read it mate but Can you explain what you think
To me that reads that usmanov (although unhappy how kronke is running the club) has no intention of giving up his stake in the club. Don't were these rumours have surfaced about him wanting to join moshiri at Everton, as as @The Esk has indicated on numerous occasions it his belief that usmanov doesn't want to relingish his stake in arsenal and this statement to me only backs this up.

The statement is not recent.

Things change. When Usmanov said what he said we weren't owned by his mate with a possible chance of a world class stadium being built in a prime location, with a lot more money due to the TV deal.

That's what I thought but it's signed moshiri to , I wonder if usamanov has had a change of heart like moshiri has

Hope your both right.

I see the rumour mill has ground and that Moshiri' s mate Usmanov is now coming to join us, I don't know, wait wait for ages on a billionaire turning up and then two come along at once.

"Things change"

100%.

As long as Kroenke is there, not allowing Usmanov a sniff - the speculation re EFC will remain.
