I actually dreamt about Moshiri tonight. There was speculation about if he was going to buy into us or not. It ended up with him doing so ( like in the real world) and I was celebrating.

It seems that our fans expectations are way to high with this guy, some of our posters on here believe we are going to be the next city

Jose
Waterfront stadium
100 million to spend before sales

Feel sorry for Moshiri when the fans don't get Jose or a waterfront stadium.

I see your a cup half-empty kinda guy? C'mon let a bit of positivity into your life, let's crack on and do this.

If your after sponsorship from any Russian company, then Gazprom is the one to go for, majorly involved in sponsorship deals across sport in general, but heavily involved in football sponsorship in multiple ways, CL sponsor, Zenit sponsor, and numerous other sponsorship deals in and outside of Russia.

They also seem to have a company 'policy' of expanding the image of the brand through this as well (sports sponsorship), any of stadium naming rights, Shirt sponsorship deal, or general sponsoship of some form would bring in a vast amount of money and give Gazprom a Huge Profile boost in emerging markers from the high visibility of sponsoring a premiership team

Given the Russian policy of looking east rather than west (China, Thailand etc), and given that in the east is where the premiership bubble is growing the fastest - makes sense that sooner or later Gazprom will want a high profile flagship in this league
Even that mate we might finally have to tell Chang if u want to carry on sponsorship with the club we name the price or we get someone else in start a bidding war in a way mate

My dream involved my hot tennis coach. Says a lot about both of us really.
A Mosh and a Minx.

My dream can't be committed to any format of record for fear of being used against me in a court of law at a later date. But your hot tennis coach could have fitted in - tennis balls and ping pong balls everywhere!

Everton contacted Gazprom two years ago, the discussions were cordial but due to the Gazprom involvement with Schalke and the CL, as well as their sporting interests in Russia, they were not inclined to consider another club sponsorship deal.

The possibility now with Mr.Moshiri might be different.

Think that I mentioned they would see out existing obligations mate, and certainly continue with Zenit but I am aware they plan no new sponsorship activities at club level.

You may be right mate, as for Zenit they will obviously continue regardless with them as unless i am mistaken Gazprom actually own them

One conversation between the old board and a company like those would be enough for them to see how amateur we where, different level of man now in charge though, seriously doubt he will have many phones put down on him mate.

Correct, a majority stake at least, not sure if it is outright ownership though. Might be some executive options (if you know what I mean haha)

Sorry mate, this an incorrect assumption on who from the club contacted them and the response.

I won't go into details, however let me assure you that the approach was 100% professionally handled, well received by Gazprom, but as stated with all their other interests and sponsorship deals, at that time another sponsorship deal was not envisaged as necessary for them.

The approach was not dismissed out of hand and/or laughed at.
