some american/latino war vet with only one arm and no legs, wearing a tim howard top, just after the world cup, asked if he could shake howards hand as his absolute hero and it would give him so much joy, Tim threw the head on him then volleyed him into a bench, shouting one nil to the secutary of defense, shame like
 
thankful we had such a cool guy at the club for so long, inspiring character, inspiring face, did his best, there was a period when we got into Europe under Moyes when he was Southall-esque in the confidence he was showing and giving out to the team. all goalkeepers make 'mistakes', £3m was a bargain considering the positions we ended up in especially under Moyes for so many seasons

we have not up until this point had money to attract a top young goalkeeper. we always pay 100ks or sometimes a little more for promising young players, I do not think Tim Howard made an error even close to Robles' efforts against Newcastle. without Tim Howard, we would not be a top 6 club criticising players like Tim Howard.

do you remember the World Cup 2014? How much fun and how did it make you feel watching our goalkeeper do so well - long live Tim Howard and long live America

What a load of utter guff.


His performance against Leicester last year was the worst gk performance I have ever seen
 

His little 'farewell statement' doesn't cover up the fact that he's an utter fraud who was finished as a professional footballer 18 months ago and thought his performances were good enough to warrant a starting place.
