The job awaiting the new manager is a big one, a massive one as the whole mindset within the club needs to alter course. This is a genuine project, a chance for the right person to mould a club, a team, a fan base into a dynasty.
I'm leaning towards thinking that we're not getting any kind of also-ran or up-and-coming manager, that we are working hard on a genuine top quality candidate who is seeking plenty of assurances from the new owner who is doing his utmost to provide them in such a way as to give the manager total authority to re-build our club with a five-year target of minimum CL qualification and (at least) one domestic cup.
