Given the state Bill looks in and the rumours about his health etc, probably best he swerves something that stressful anyway when it has to happen, and Moshiri just seems to me the type of bloke to have his Hitman pull the trigger from a distance

Decent way to get Elstone to show his loyalty to you as well by getting him to personally pull the trigger on Kenwrights boy

With respect mate, Bill looked in decent health in that vid yesterday showing him swatting somebodys phone.

Anyway, I do think the plan is still "review" at end of season.

A very foolish move I feel for everybody concerned.

Bill will do it, most likely face to face. Whatever you think of his tenure, he is (or at bare minimum certainly sees himself as) a gentleman.

As a side note, think he actually has looked a lot healthier of late.

That's my view.

If we draw/lost to Bournemouth, he's gone.

If not I think we'll stumble on until the end of the season barring any major catastrophes (like the derby) and he'll go at the end of the season.

Saying that, I wouldn't be massively surprised if he went this week - but we wouldn't get a replacement in before the end of the season. That will be done in the summer.

Hi BlueToff, Now seeming to realise his departure is inevitable, do you wish we had forced him out of the club, anticipating this last week's events, weeks ago? And hopefully anticipating the moves in the summer.... (and what it will take to avoid disaster next season), do you wish we had changed manager several weeks ago?

Yesterday's result will piss me off if he has been sacked today. It should of happened after the Derby and given us some hope of winning at Wembley . It's clear as day the 2nd half performance was the players taking things into there own hands as Martinez 'plan' was blatantly not working like it hasn't since Wolfsburg away .

After the last week we've had if he's not gone by Bournemouth then he was getting till the end of the season regardless of anything. Sends out a bad message.

Ahh haven't seen that vid mate, was just going off the way he looke din the directors box really.

Review at the end of the season will be bad, as it means 2 absolutely toxic games and much as i want martinez well gone i wouldn't wish that on anyone as the crowd will absolutely tear him to shreds in those games - and let's face it that won't particulaly put us in a god light in the media or to a perspective new manager who we may be trying to get to come here

Hmm...

I'm not sure.

In hindsight, yes. But I think the turning point was Arsenal.

After WHU, many turned, including myself - though I was willing to give him a chance. Chelsea was that chance and like you mentioned that was a great display all-round from everybody.

However, Arsenal we were useless and then I think it was clear the players looked lost under him. I think he then lost the dressing room completely when he tried to throw Baines under the bus, so to speak.

The players aren't playing for him and you can't just turn it on like a tap, as bad as some of them have been and as much as they must also share some of the blame.

Not when it comes to our managers though . He got far to friendly with 'david' and 'roberto'
You put their name in quotes like that as if Kenwright referring to them that way is supportive of the argument - have you EVER heard a Chairman refer to their manager by anything other than their first name. I guess it may have happened now and then, but would be far from the norm

The news stories in the next few nights are going to be interesting. I predict sto

I think it's going to be that way for many. The Bournemouth game may prove the final straw, or it may drag on. I think the atmosphere and performance is actually more important than the result. You mentioned this and I think it may pan out this way. Next weekend may be the time for Martinez to go.
