I don't know what happened today at half time. I can surmise that the players said we are not playing this c++p anymore and we are going to have a go. Man Utd are very beatable, we made them look good in the first half because we played a Martinez type of game.
The second half showed that we can play if we are allowed to. That level of performance plus a couple of new additions would see us at the upper end of the table. We have to rid ourselves of Martinez. The nonsense he is now spouting is unseemly. At the start of this week he said the team had to produce for the supporters, well they haven't, accept responsibility, man up and resign so that we can move on.

No one invests £100,000,000 into anything and then leaves someone incompetent in charge for very long....

....It's just not good business sense, It's a phenomenal amount of money.

This week, and the last two seasons, have been awful, but the worst is over, time to pick ourselves up and get ready for better times ahead.

I felt excited and engaged at times during the second half today, all is not lost, and with new management I personally believe we will prosper
Totally agree mate!
Feel the same mate & change seems to
definitely be on it's way ;)

Whether anybody thinks it was the managers fault or not today is irrelevant when you look at the season as a whole. Thats whats he's judged on, not todays game in isolation when you could say we were unlucky with the outcome. Too many hard luck stories I'm afraid. We've got to get a winning mentality. Until then, this will happen more often than not. Out fans deserve so much more. Crying out for success.

Ultimately we saw why he needs to go. He couldn't get the players motivated and fighting for an FA Cup semi, took something on the pitch to get them interested.
Nice bloke but not good enough.

I don't agree..

He should go, no doubt.

But Wednesday showed why.. Not today.. We played ok today and our striker let us down.. Not the manager.

Nah, a manager that cannot even inspire fight in his players is not the man to lead this club.

What that game needed was Mirallas on when we were on top and really pressure them. But it never happened...martinez has to go.

Nsno...hope Moshiri sticks to it

it's almost 21:00 here, still not sacked. I don't know why i think this should have happened by now but here we are....

months overdue...

would bet a different manager would have had the first half performance just as good as the first half but, for whatever reason, they decided to stick with a manager who has no idea what he's doing....
