Whilst I now concede it's highly likely he will be gone in the summer, I don't believe we are actively looking for replacements in the background nor that Roberto has been told.

It's the most important period regarding a potential trophy we've had in years and I very much doubt a businessman as astute as Moshiri would risk the squad/management/anyone in the club/press rocking the boat.

I may be being naive but as I say, I don't believe it's happening under the nose of the manager on the eve of a cup semi.

If we lose on Saturday then I can see the process being started

Without question options are being and have been discussed already. 100%.

We are talking about a billionaire businessman who is personally investing into the club, if for a single second you (not you personally like mk) think he'll accept mediocrity then you're sorely & hugely mistaken. Equally, if you think he'll happily sit back, give BOB loadsa rope and then make a 'snap' decision at the season end or later then, again, you are mistaken.

The wheels, without question, are in motion.

And at risk of repeating myself...it's suggested he's been 'watching' for 18 months, the MOSH. Personally I think it's slightly less than that, no matter, because if he HAS been (has, btw) then I'm positive he won't let it linger in the current manner...

It is complete common sense & business acumen that a shortlist has been drawn up already and been depthily discussed, even if a miracle is performed from now until the season end, the process will still remain underway & fluid. It's this simple - he has bought into a business, with a view to eventually owning said business outright, and the man currently at the helm is consistently and has always - pretty much - underperformed.

And that, at the most basic level, just isn't good enough...

In normal circumstances you are probably right but with the unique position Pellegrini finds himself in I bet he is getting lots of enquiries. We would be foolish not be one of them.

I'd argue that whilst discussions will have took place, the club wont be doing anything more than seeking utterances of interest.

They certainly wont be doing anymore than that imo. Certainly not arranging meetings with potential managers and certainly not telling Roberto he is effectively out of a job in the summer.

Window shopping, maybe.

And with regards to business acumen. To me it's reasonable to assume that a Billionaire would see the benefits of having his club watched by the international public in the FA Cup final. This includes potential sponsors and the like. If he has already decided to sack the manager, why wouldnt the process start in its earnest after our fate has been sealed? put another way, why would starting it now make any difference to starting it once the FA cup has been decided? I'd say none and thus believe that window shopping is as far as it's gone.

I'm not keen on Vilas Boas, other than that I have no idea who I'd like. People seem to speak highly of Tuchel and De Boer but I cant be arsed to look up either of their records to see what they've actually achieved.

But Vilas Boas has a lovely voice and luscious hair x

Tuchel seems to be a good manager but I don't know much about him

Thought he was doing well at Dortmund so dont see why he'd leave them for us
