Out, I was hoping for/wishing for a reaction for todays game, anything, unfortunately I saw nothing. I can't even feel angry with the performance anymore, I just feel apathetic.

...sad thing is that's a malaise that seems to be quickly spreading.

Derby week and we're off to a semi yet.....well, it's a all just a bit pfffffffff.............

A reset poll would be interesting to be honest. I'd hazard a guess you get nearer 90% in favour of change now.

It's very very hard to get excited by us at the minute. Moshiri would have seen the real apathy and discontent first hand now today and it's really getting a bit shambolic. The fans hate the manager. The players don't like the manager. They won't give their best efforts for him. The fans are turning up to protest against him. And now we have young kids being thrown into the mix in the middle of all this. They did very well of course today and that was encouraging. But it only further evidenced the fact that the senior first team players have completely lost faith in the boss and downed tools.

Gonna be a long old week.

Don't worry all. After earning hard earned points against Palace and Watford there us only Liverpool next.

The same Liverpool who managed to topple dormund a few days ago.

Funny thing is, we should be in a position to bring them down to earth, now I hope Martinez at least goes defensive because otherwise it could be another Gerrard Derby and we just gift them another win.

"We have been talking a lot about the contrasting seasons we are having away from home and at home and it is understandable you get that frustration.

"But we have a really good opportunity to take advantage of where we are.

"We are competing in the (FA Cup) semi-final and we have games where we want to make fans proud.

"That what we are going to do from now until the end of the season, make sure they are proud of our performances and results."

Every week it's the same meaningless tripe

Promises promises promises

We always have an opportunity we just can't take it.

Here's the recording of my earlier call on 5 Live. Just a couple of things - it's extremely difficult to keep the conversation going in the direction you want rather than where they want to take it, and if you try to interject then they close down you microphone as happened this evening at one point.

Having said that, objective achieved, 8 minutes of talking about Martinez must go, Moyes being unsuitable and we should set our targets high helps get the message across.

He talks some pony.

How has he earned it?
He got us there. It's pretty simple.

If you're saying the manager of the football team hasn't earned the semi final, the burden of explanation is yours to bear, not mine.

Look, I understand the desire for black and white thinking on Martinez. That's how football fans think, in the main.

But there's nothing wrong with assessing the situation with a cool head.

Changing the manager right now, this week, won't help us win the semi. It'd also make us look like vindictive berks.

The summer is when we put our house in order.

If you bothered to quote my entire post I explained it already

moyes got the maximum effort out of his poor quality players

martinez gets the minimum effort out of his high quality players

it's such a paradox

With Moyes the whole was greater than the sum of it's parts. With Martinez the whole is less than the sum of its parts

And what about the fans who will be out of pocket following a broken manager and a flat team who no longer play for him?
