The right manager would have us raring to go. The players have lost faith in Martinez and once that happens it is basically game over.

Of course not.

If Martinez wins the next two games he can at least point to successe in derbies and the cup to justify his existence this summer. I'd still probably lean to getting rid of him but we'll see.

If he doesn't win those two games, then he's got nothing at all to reccomend him as a manger based on the last 18 months.

Our board should be saying, win at anfield, win the semi, win the final, win the last 2 home games and maybe you'll be here next year, lose them and you have no chance. That should be the level of pressure on him.
