Liverpool fans look at me as if I have two heads when I tell them Martinez is gone at the end of the season if not before. They think we are being harsh etc largely due to there lack of intelligence & the fact that very few mainstream publications/websites are reporting facts ref his poor record. I also believe they have this thought process as they don't want to face facts that in the not to distant future there advantages over us will be null & void in short they are starting to feel threatened by us

Funnily enough Liverpool fans tell me the same thing, however if you look around other teams forums on the internet I think they're pretty unanimous in saying Martinez has been useless for the past two years now.

They are a collective entity with very very few individuals amongst them

Would be harsh to sack a manager who won us a trophy for the first time in 21 years plus the board wont sack him if he wins the f.a cup

Disagree.

If we go on to win the cup, we thank him and then send him on his way with a big fat payoff and he can hold his head up with two cup wins on his cv.

When we're negged by the media or whoever for parting company with him, we simply show the win/loss figures and league table placings for the past two seasons and pose the question, "and what you have done eh, Einstein?"

And then let's see what the media respond with.

Unfortunately it is a lose lose situation at the moment, we don't really have someone at the club who could realistically take over and give us a bounce, but we are also looking at the most important week of the season and realistically seeing no wins at the end of it with the current manager in charge.

I genuinely don't see any situation in which this season is a success any more
Joe Royle? Been there seen it done it. Working at the club and yes he's been out of management years, but I fail to see how a Royle, unsworth and sheedy coaching and management team till the end of the season can be anything worse than what we have had to endure recently. Would give the crowd a lift if nothing else, then at the end of the season all 3 can go back to doing their excellent jobs within the academy structure.

That would be the main concern

Why does it have to be someone at the club?

Just imagine getting Jose in until the end of the season.

Who's bothered what that circus think? If they don't understand why he's sent on his way then leave them to it.

I appreciate that but it's not like he is out of football. I've no doubt he is watching all the first team games, he must know what's going wrong behind the scenes (dunce can inform him if he already doesn't). I'm not expecting a dogs of war mentality from joe. Just to organise and guide a team that has lost its way under the present manager. I can't honestly see Royle doing a worse job than Martinez. Dalglish actually won a trophy after taking over from hodgson and he'd been out of management years.

True. I don't think Kenwright will sack Martinez if he wins the cup because he believes in Bobby's bs. However, I really do not see how this club will benefit in long terms under the management of Martinez in particular how poorly we have done in the league for a significant period.

The decision to sack him is purely based on the league form since the beginning of 2014-2015 season and if someone is not up to the job I won't call it harsh to sack him. He is backed by the board with money and time considerably as reasonable to showcase his worth. Clubs like RS did the same it's the way how you view what Everton shall achieve. 11th and 12th (at the moment) and 30% winning rate are fair assessment in judging his ability as a whole.

To sum up, I particully agree with you. He won't be sacked if he wins the cup despite burning bridges with portion of the fans as well as losing the dressing room.

What does the world of twitter say mate?

It says ' @D410 also used to post under the name John Cribb on Kipper, where he was notorious for only surfacing at times of negativity'

It could be the apocalypse outside and he'd still be telling us about a rumour on Toffeeweb that Bill had started it all by not talking to the Blue Union

Got to the stage now where i completely detest the guy, he has took a very good football team and made us a laughing stock. Its his interviews though which really peeve me off, the complete and utter drivel he comes out with is unbelievable. Finally his complete and utter stubbornness to change what is obviously wrong with the way we are playing.
