Our teams absolute kryptonite under Bobby is pressing and high tempo. That lot are going to be chomping at the bit come the derby. God help us.

At the moment I think our teams absolute kryptonite under Bobby is spherical object filled with air.

And no it's not anyone's head...

Liverpool's result has left me particularly despondent this morning. I am not going to comment any further on Martinez's suitability to manage Everton...my views are already well known.

It really brought it home tonight about how a decision needs to be made very quickly.

They were on the wrong path under Rogers, likewise we're on the wrong path with Martinez.

Such is modern life mate, the world's gone like it. No loyalty.

Absolutely and it goes both ways. Clubs ( which are not in fact clubs but toys of billionaires ) show no loyalty to managers who show no loyalty to clubs and neither manager or club shows loyalty to players who shoe loyalty only to themselves.

Honestly the only mugs left are us but we're stuck with it.

Fact is...

deal with the devil or not. After 65 minutes there, they're 3-1 down, and require 3 to win.

Not the first time they've played to the final whistle this season, and got their rewards, ironically, the opposite fate has hit us at least 4 times this season.

It's no surprise, they look hungry, the look determined and importantly look fitter, whereas we look disinterested, lacking any creativity, and have scored just once in 4 league games.

Morale of the story is, we need a motivator, not just a manager, and Martinez isn't that.

If we'd have lost 3-1 today, he'd have turned round and said we showed 'great spirit and desire'.

Can't believe I've managed to turn the kopites winning into something Anti-Martinez, but Liverpool winning is no surprise, us being naff, is probably even less of a surprise.

Meanwhile, they're off to Sevilla, we're off to Sunderland. What a time to be alive.

And we're off to that there London Town.

I doubt we'll hear from Moshiri about this at all, and that's the way it should be.

I expect us to go about our business in a quiet and professional way. I hope Roberto will be allowed to leave without being humiliated. He's a decent bloke well out of his depth, whose only real flaw is an excess of self belief.

It is not even that it is "excess" self belief.

Jose has that in spades.

In Bobby's case it is unfounded self belief that is killing EFC.

Winning the FA Cup would give us so much - end the trophy drought and get us into Europe next season. I can't see us progressing past united with Martinez still at the helm.
