Look at that lot from across the park fighting hard even when it looked like they were out and eventually complete, Klopp making smart substitutions and getting his tactics spot on. They looked down and out and still went through.

Meanwhile there's us in 12th and our deluded manager saying 0-0 and 1-1 draws with Palace and Watford are incredible results, Blue Bill praising his phenomenal ability to reach 40 points in April. More protests needed.

Klopp just made a side of average plonkers brilliant. Martinez is making what are already a bunch of unfit, passionless jokers even worse.

You can't say stuff like that on here, 'kopite behaviour ' apparently.

I honestly think it's the latter. He really thinks these are good results. It's mental.
To me, it seems like he's trying to bend reality with the power of his mind. If he says something's incredible, it is incredible.

If there's any sort of criticism, he thinks all he needs to do is start his answer with the words "No, no," and then whatever spills forth extinguishes the criticism with a brand new truth he just pulled out of his exit hole.

Fact is...

deal with the devil or not. After 65 minutes there, they're 3-1 down, and require 3 to win.

Not the first time they've played to the final whistle this season, and got their rewards, ironically, the opposite fate has hit us at least 4 times this season.

It's no surprise, they look hungry, the look determined and importantly look fitter, whereas we look disinterested, lacking any creativity, and have scored just once in 4 league games.

Morale of the story is, we need a motivator, not just a manager, and Martinez isn't that.

If we'd have lost 3-1 today, he'd have turned round and said we showed 'great spirit and desire'.

Can't believe I've managed to turn the kopites winning into something Anti-Martinez, but Liverpool winning is no surprise, us being naff, is probably even less of a surprise.

Meanwhile, they're off to Sevilla, we're off to Sunderland. What a time to be alive.

That's just weird, and something I can't imagine happening. I don't agree with marching up and down Goodison Road but they act upon things when it's wrong, not necessarily talking about their strange 'cover myself in badges' fans but at board level too. They sacked a manager who got them 2nd, but I must admit I'm not sure what his points total was so it may not have been 72.
