Another article refusing to put the blame at Martinez's draw. 'The rise of the also rans'?! Embarassing stuff from the echo, so is the assertion that the squad is stretched when Mirallas Gibson Naismith and Besic have spent most of the season kicking their heels. The bench most weeks looks very very strong.

They are happy to keep us in the position we are in now. That is why things like that banner at the match are so important. Neither the local media or sky have any interest in a successful Everton competing with Liverpool.

As I alluded to in my first comment, could you see a kopite writing about us any differently? You can bet your life he's more than happy for us to flounder in 14th place, unless it's all but a foregone conclusion he'll be trying to keep Martinez in the job by blaming everything and everyone else.

The comment about the cup runs is a perfect example of Mersons Men in Black thing. No sane person would ever think an away day at Carlise is stretching for a professional squad, even less so in the FA Cup when that's the only game that week.

Are you a lip reader then?? because I clearly can't see anything at all. If you can honestly tell that on that very small clip you can distinguish words then you clearly must be a professional. If not, then it's getting blown out of proportion like this clip

Just looks like a conversation. Yeah he may have pulled Martinez up about how crap we are but it looks like both are having a civil conversation about it. No one looks angry or aggressive. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with that.

The majority believe Martinez is not the man to take Everton forward, and I concur (actually, I'd say the man is miles out of his depth and deserves drumming out of town).
But it's the usual preface, "he's a nice bloke, but..." that confuses me. My take on Martinez is that he's not a good bloke at all...he's a narcissistic, vindictive totalitarian whose has snake-oiled salesman-ed far too many (including me a couple of years ago) for far too long.

Personally speaking, I would frog march the man out of EFC at tomorrow dawn's early light.

I am still struggling with how anyone can interpret with any degree of accuracy what is bring said there.
