It's out in the open now. It's not hidden fume on GOT anymore.Martinez wanted to censure Leighton Baines to cover his own back.Only for it to backfire spectacularly. The whole Martinez thing was a powder keg that was going to explode and the Leighton Baines incident is what tipped it off.If people thought last Saturday was bad just wait until the next game at Goodison.

Things are turning ugly and the club should act. I'm 28 and I can't remember the last time the fans publicly turned on a manager like this.

I don't think Martinez is the man to take us forward and I think he is seriously out of his depth BUT I think he genuinely gets Everton and comes across as a nice guy. I don't think its through a lack of effort, I just don't think he has the skills to implement what he wants to do.

But for a long time, the board have taken advantage of Everton fan's good nature. We don't protest, bring banners or chant against the team. We are very small c conservative fans. Rather than pushing their luck, the club should have removed Martinez before it got to this point.

As each day goes by, the fume levels go up another notch, until eventually it is going to blow up in the boards face. Each time Strachan, Dean Saunders, Sharp or whoever else fobs off the fans grievances the pressure builds further and for once, I think the Echo is begging to understand this.

Expected the worse when I saw this, didn't want this to be a personal thing and him getting abused.

But by the looks of it, it seems like a conversation, I could be wrong. As much as I want him gone I do not want him to be getting abuse hurled at him everywhere he goes. Just hope that was a civil exchange of words

Yes, neither Roberto or the fan seemed particularly animated.

Nowt to see there IMO

Any decent lip reader can tell he called him the W word. Utterly embarrassing

Being brutally honest I don't want a nice guy in charge. We've always been spineless. I want someone who will give the squad and himself stick when they need it and not just Bob along keeping those unamibtious ones at the top happy. I've known everton to be one thing in my life, bottlers.

Like you said fans get taken advantage of because we haven't previously kicked off but have we had such a good squad in my life time (20 years)? We're 14th. Something is going horribly wrong and I don't see it getting any better with him there. We're going to lose some massive assets in the summer, this is the best squad I've seen but we're just building players for other teams while we sit in mediocrity.

It's not on this if true. Just leave the man alone. I want him gone as much as others but it's not his fault he's still here.
Think this might work the other way for some.

But " you Everton fans" is absolutely fine is it? Goading a young Blue who had the temerity to challenge him.

Lovely bloke though:dodgy:
Goading hey?
Looked like a nice passionate chat to me.
Still needs to go though

The unfortunate irony of it all is that it appears that things are going to turn out "Tim Howard like" for Roberto and the Everton FC.

Kenwright needs to come out of his bunker and take some of the pressure off him too. Either back him and ramp up the fume levels, but take some of the flak himself or allow him to walk away by resigning.
