Don't know why people saying royle the premier league has changed a lot since
The game itself hasn't.

It's a interim job for 5-6 games, assuming Martinez goes who would you suggest to guide us to the end of the season.
I agree, the fact that we're in a FA cup semi-final is the bit that makes it seem unbelievable to me.I don't believe for a second that Martinez offered to resign. Why would he? It goes against the tone of everything he says publicly, would cost him a fortune in compensation payments and deny him the possibility of FA Cup glory when it's only 2 games away. It's nonsense.
Big Dunc. It's a interim job for 5-6 games, assuming Martinez goes who would you suggest to guide us to the end of the season.
Also a lot would have us believe it's Bill who does the hiring and firing. There is no way anyone with more than half a brain cell would have rejected it.I agree, the fact that we're in a FA cup semi-final is the bit that makes it seem unbelievable to me.
Joe Royle's first game as our manager was the Derby, they had a better team but we beat them on the night, we don't win either of the next 2 and I hope he goes on to repeat it. Also we won the FA Cup that season.
Do it again please.
At the start of the season most people would have jumped at winning the FA Cup .And winning the cup buys martinez time whether people like or not same as it bought fergie time in 1990 ,imagine any manager coming in after the previous manager had been sacked when he had just won the fa cup . Yes the league form especially at home has been a disaster ,and we should be up there challenging for the cl spots but winning trophies surely is high on peoples priorities .to hear some evertonians say they would rather lose some games to get the manager the sack beggars belief.....I'd be very surprised if the new owner hasn't instructed his folk to sound out likely candidates, it's what happens. I'd also be surprised if anything happens before the semi final.
Still, somehow pretty much all the bookmakers still think we're the clear favourites to win the competition based on their odds.

Not for me, but each to their own.Big Dunc.
Don't think he would do any worse than Martinez until the end of the season. He would get the fans going if nothing else. Not for me, but each to their own.
The club has already spoken to at least four potential replacements. It's just a matter of time now.
