As Evertonian's we all know the huge discontent over Martinez, but to the outside world it was just 4 fans holding a banner up who aren't happy, until it's done en masse it's always going to be perceived as a few unhappy fans by the media.
I know but I don't just know about Everton I actually pay attention to other clubs & read up on non mainstream websites & im not paid to give an opinion. Punditry is a paid profession the least these people could do is a bit of research it's not to much to ask I'm sick to death of the rubbish spouted & facts being ignored

It does not need much time for Ranieri to do a miracle with Leicester. And has he spent loads? No. As long as Leicester win the league, it shows how underachieved Everton are with this squad.

Some idiot on the Sunday supplement said last week Barkley has had a poor season ffs

The team will get all the support they need for the semi mate.

You have much more knowledge of players and managers in the world than I have, but I've seen a lot of Everton managers come and go, and, baring a minor miracle, Martinez will be joining the lists of Bingham, Lee and, though it pains me to say it, Harvey. They all had half decent records at some time in their managerial careers at Everton, but, like Martinez, ultimately, they flattered to deceive. Martinez has had nigh on three seasons now, and we've had one good season in the league, and two poor ones.

He might have got away with that under the old regime, but I can't see him getting away with it now.

Certainly looks that way unless results improve.

I wonder also if Moshiri had someone in mind before he took over and the feelers have been put out already.

Also think it's a case of the media aren't really arsed about us mate.

This thread is a frenzy, how right everyone feels about sacking the manager.

Regardless of The rights and wrongs of the issue, the popular vouge of being cool to bin Martinez has led to bad Tedish behaviour amongst fans which is an utter embarrassment.

Some utterly embarrassing posts in thread underpinning the moral panic around this issue.

The furnishing of banners at the game is utter Kopite beahviour, I expected better,if I'm honest and deeply saddened.

How we as fans have fallen, to the level of oink rank file.

We used to be more and better. Not what Evertonians should be.

Don't you just love it when someone tells you how you "should" behave as an Everton fan?
So we "should" just pipe down and keep quiet about the third rate con-man masquerading as a football manager? Gratefully accept our place as 'little (but plucky) old Everton? Do me a favour mate.

Well, I remember reading somewhere that as part of his due diligence he got someone to value the squad, so it seems unlikely to the point of being absurd that he won't have had his team looking at possible replacements for the manager. That's not to say that he'll have bought in with a view to replacing Martinez, but it would just be what you'd do if you were ( effectively ) taking over a business and weren't totally convinced that the people running the business were the right people long term.

After seeing Jags getting injured it's clear that Martinezs days are numbered.

We will get trashed in the derby and have no chance against West Ham/ ManU in the semis. He will be sacked 25th of April.

If he is gone now, we stand a better chance of winning the cup. The players and the fans need a lift. The atmosphere in the dressing room must be toxic at the moment.

I cant wait to hear what the pro Bobby brigade say after we lose to Palace..Southampton...and the Red brigade..all of which seems perfectly feasible to me given the current form.

The only saving grace is that Norwich play Sunderland next week..so at least only one of them can get 3 points..

I know it's a long well trodden conversation. It's why although I know there's little to no chance but if we got mourinho it all changes overnight.

Initially there would be disbelief & articles asking why? then when people actually sat down & thought about it we would hear the facts.

I don't actually long to be talked about or Flavour of the month I just wasn't the respect we deserve & want over 100+ years not since the premier league inception.
