In Martinez land it's always dawn...and always a false one...Its always Darkest before the dawn....

I do look long term and wonder how Roberto can lead us to success and unfortunately in this league I can't remember many teams who have ever been successful without building from the back. Even relative success can be built on being hard to beat. In this league, more than any other, teams put you under pressure and you have to be able to cope with the physical defensive side that I can't see him ever being able to manage because I haven't see any signs of improvement and him actually acknowledging the issue. I hope to god we win the cup and that winning mentality stays with the club into next season and there's a change in the air. We can all dream.

Different perspective though mate.Naw, that's not right.
Although Niasse at first glance looks a poor signing, noone could really argue that money he spent on Lukaku and McCarthy was wasted. Mori doesn't look like a waste of money either.

I am actually scared right now...For those who criticise anyone who they say never gave him a chance mate, will point to a whole host of things he said and results he had at Wigan and say even the most criticial of Everton fans actually gave him a huge amouint of leeway - if we hadn't then honestly we could have slaughtered him as a fanbase based on all his prior from day one.
The bloke reminds me of Graeme Norton in Father Ted, ultra positive and everything is fantastic and brilliant and amazing - no matter what the reality of the situation is - acftually think i am gonna dig around a bit more and see what other belters i can come up with - have the strange feeling that post FA Cup win and relegation that followed will contain some hidden corkers, as will whenever he talks about being able to now push on to another level with Wigan - which i saw him mention a fair bit at differing times of his tenure there
Samuel said on Sunday Supplement today we are on course to have the biggest difference in points between home and away games since the league started, like 1888 or something.
A successful team is built from the back. A solid defence wins trophies.
His post match comments regarding the banners are not surprising, just does not get it at all. What good fans we are, just patronising waffle which we are all used to hearing.
