Well, a lot of fans were blaming "Martinez' style of play" for the amount of goals we were conceding, which was true earlier in the season when we were being caught on the counter attack while winning, which was insanity. Now, in my opinion, it's more of a players problem, as mentioned before, the lack of concentration. In the West Ham game, I think it was due to tired legs, McCarthy and others weren't getting out in time to block crosses, and I can understand if they physically couldn't due to tired legs. This is the only thing I'd call into question every time, is Martinez' decision making when it comes to subs. He doesn't have a clue sometimes, and gives players 5 minutes to do something, when the fans have been screaming for him for 15 minutes previously. Going back to that West Ham game, he brought on Barry way too late. The only reason I can think of why he would bring on Niasse instead is because he thought the game was over, and wanted to give him a runSo doesn't the buck stop with the manager when the same defensive issues keep cropping up and he does nothing
