I've been advised to to listen to the interview before I go to bed mateTo be honest I've heard those words about three or four times from any manager.
But I asked specifically about what he was asked today.

How little does he know (of the player's and club) not to have anticipated this?Baines is right about the criticism and is so much more respected by our club, Martinez is getting absolutely roasted on Twitter
Anyone know what the Martinez thread from last year was called?
(not vaulting anyone if thats how it sounds)
Completley true mate, even myself would call it a good result.like I said, United were terrible, we were slightly better. We defended really well, apart from the goal, which should have been snuffed out easily. Jags had 2 chances, 1 hit the bar, 1 straight at the keeper, and Lukaku was an inch away from tapping it home from Coleman's dangerous cross. Like i said before, had we won 3-1 by scoring those chances, no one would have been saying it was a bad performance.
Well I was interpreting what he said but..
If it's only to respond to this then I wouldn't. It's dull and completely lacking in any controversy.I've been advised to to listen to the interview before I go to bed mate![]()
And there's been a lot of that, but the common misconception is people are interpreting these bad results as bad performances. We've just been extremely unlucky. If you look at the goals were conceding it's largely down to lack of concentration, players not rushing out to block crosses late in games, not clearing the ball when they should etc. There's nothing more frustrating than losing a game you know you should have won
Missed the sleep reference sorry. I can recommend musicI've been advised to to listen to the interview before I go to bed mate![]()
That's exactly my point, the persistent bad results has caused the frustration to boil over from the fans point of view and that's what we're all reading here.Completley true mate, even myself would call it a good result.
Except we lost 1-0. That is all that matters.
How does a top manager not have it sorted so it's a regular occurrence?By getting the balance between attacking and defending right, which he has done at times this season, but not enough - see Stoke, Southampton. So I'm saying that it's there, he just needs to get it right more, and I'm willing to give him time to see if he does.

nice to see the echo finally grow a pair. The bufoon in charge is completely deluded. Typical signs of a manager out of his depth - blaming everyone else!!!
